OUR STORY

In the year 2000 Oliver & Purchase came together when we married and the iconic label was designed for the celebration. Now we endeavour to design for a simple life, influenced by our surroundings of Torcross.

For 30 years we were designing and developing clothing for global brands.

Now we are a 2 person team designing & hand making all the products in our home workshop by the sea.

Our honest use of materials & modern approach to design mean reusing and repurposing our knowledge, experience and skills.

We, Garry & Jaquine, hand make every product from start to finish. We have 2 sewing machines for fabrics and a self taught method of hand hole punching and hand thonging for the leather.

Garry’s signature recycled pieces are forever unique and personalised with his bespoke labelling & Torcross

“simple life” ethos.

Commissioning and repairing are very important to O&P and naturally ensure longevity & sustainability.

New commissions and projects are great for pushing the brand in exciting different directions developing our skill set & seeking new design horizons.
